Plate credits

Every plate cites its object.

The sixteen collage plates on this site are remade from public-domain photographs in The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Open Access collection. Each was treated locally — warm-paper duotone, cut out from its ground, paper grain, hairline registration marks — and set into the page. CC0 waives attribution. A project that insists every claim cite its source should credit its own pictures anyway.
